Back on the blog! A month and a half is a little look long to catch up in detail, so I won't try, but life is grand! I'm looking forward to getting back in the swing of blogging.
September and October were so very busy, filled with good things and some dedicated deadline crafting to get my Rhinebeck sweater done in time. I won't be able to share pictures of the finished sweater for a while, as it was for a to-be-published project, but I did finish that sucker and I loved it and want to wear it all the time! Going to the New York Sheep and Wool festival always means I get to see and hug lots of friends - such a treat. I love that trip. I didn't take many photos during the festival, but I love the happy smiles in the photo below. Yay friends!
Since I last blogged, I also released my Rinconada Mitts pattern over on Ravelry - more about those later this week (I'm working on another pair, this time for Jacob)! Yes, that's right... I released the pattern last month and haven't yet blogged it. I am the very best at marketing my patterns, ever.
I hope this autumn has been a good one for all of you! It's definitely wool season here in Albuquerque now - it was 18 degrees when I woke up this morning! Brrr. I'm staying warm in my Aidez, which was designed by my friend Cirilia, then knit by my friend Nancy, who gave it to my friend Sarah, who loved it but lives in a climate a bit too warm for it - so she gave it to me. I am so cozy right about now. :) Yay friends, again!
