The weekend in wool.
I spent much of my crafty time over the three-day weekend working out the details of the upcoming hat pattern. Such a luxury to tinker with wool. Hats are so speedy and fun! Why don't I knit more hats? I'm going to knit more hats.
This stitch pattern is really fun to work, and in the Quince & Co Lark it looks and feels crisp and squishy at the same time. The second sample (in a larger size) will be knit in this pretty sky blue Dream in Color Classy.
I bought all this yarn years ago, so it's nice to finally knit them up! There's nothing better than using up some lovely-but-lingering stash.
I got some planning work done on projects I'm doing for my brother's wedding in April, too - I'm not sure how much of those I'll be able to show on the blog beforehand, but I'll definitely have some crafty projects to share after they're married. I have a Dropbox folder for their wedding projects now, which is "shit just got real" territory for me. Ha.
Charlie supervised everything, of course. (Ah, the white hairs in his muzzle!)
